When the Robber Hotzenplotz steals grandmother's coffee grinder, Kasperl and his friend Seppel want to help out policeman Dipfelmoser and try to trap the robber. Thereby they are taken prisoners by Hotzenplotz and the wizard Petrosilius Zwackelmann. In his enchanted castle they find Amarilis, a fairy, who they now have to liberate.
