Mia is starting her medical study at prestigious university Freiburg, but soon it proves that her interest in revolutionary biohacking technology is not only based on scientific reasons. She wants to gain trust of the star lecturer Tanja Lorenz, with whom she is connected through a dark secret. To solve the death of her brother Mia is taking herself in a dangerous world full of illegal gene experiments. When she meets biology student Jasper and his mysterious room mate Niklas, she has to decide between her feelings and her principles, between revenge for her family and the protection of her new friends.
