The new squad leader Marie Gabler (Katharina Wackernagel) arrives in Hengasch with light baggage. She has been transferred. But Marie prefers to keep this quiet for the time being. Her local colleagues, police sergeant Heino Fuss (Sebastian Schwarz) and trainee inspector Jennifer Dickel (Eva Bühnen), have made themselves at home since the police station was reassigned a few years ago. But with Marie Gabler, a different wind is soon blowing through the station - she wants to bring a breath of fresh air and structure to the sleepy station. However, her job turns out to be more complex than expected: As a single father, Heino prefers to get home on time in the evening, and horse lover Jenny uses every spare minute to look after her stallion Terminator. And so Marie Gabler has her hands full trying to do her job.
