Chekhov's “The Seagull” is being performed in a venerable Munich theater. But the performance takes a tragic turn when aspiring actress Nora Nielsen (Giulia Goldammer) collapses and dies on stage. Batic (Miroslav Nemec), Leitmayr (Udo Wachtveitl), and Hammermann (Ferdinand Hofer) take a look behind the scenes of the glamorous theater world, suspecting that there is a murderer among the ensemble. In the hectic everyday life of the theater, the detectives encounter jealousy, affairs, and abysses. Anyone could have a motive. And then a dark secret from the recent past shines the spotlight on another clue.
